The correction of protruding ears is one of the routine procedures in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Since our ears reach their final size early, the procedure is very often performed in childhood. Basically, it is possible at any age. The ear is permanently applied by reshaping the cartilage. To avoid visible scarring, the procedure is usually performed from the back of the ear.
Ear Lobe Correction
A reconstruction or treatment of the earlobe is very easy to perform and usually takes place on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia. The modern technology we use allows us to easily refresh earlobes, to repair tears and damage to the earlobes, or to remove unnecessary skin flaps on the ears.
Further information on the subject of ear correction can be obtained from our clinic director Dr. med. med. Deniel Kish at a personal consultation.
A non-binding consultation appointment is best made by phone at T:+41 (0)44 202 50 02 or via our contact form.
