Facelift and Necklift

The modern facelift technique today allows us to easily tighten the facial skin and the underlying tissue and restore the youthful proportions of the face, without losing the individuality or even distinctive features of a face.

In order to realize your desire for a younger look, we have several sophisticated methods available: the Minilift, the Halslift and the Unté Facelift. For a complete big facelift, the lower facelift or the minilift can also be combined with the necklift.

Minilift

If the signs of age are only weak, a minilift (duration of about 1.5 hours) can lead to the desired result: We use particularly gentle techniques to correct the cheeks in the first place. The wrinkles there are smoothed and so the youthful proportions of this area restored. By including the tissue structures under the skin, the results are more than convincing if indicated appropriately. The incisions are smaller and the healing times shorter.

A neck lift or a neck lift is a surgical procedure for tightening and smoothing the skin on the neck. For aesthetic reasons and to optimize the contours, it is often done in combination with a facelift.

A neck lift is useful, for example, when the neck is wrinkled and the tissue is relaxed, a double chin has formed, the skin hangs down in a rag, or fat has accumulated in the neck area.

In this approximately three-hour operation, excess skin is removed or brought back into the old position. Both result in a tightening of the skin: the wrinkles disappear and the patient looks visually younger again.

Lower Facelift

A lower facelift (approximately 3.0 hours) involves the skin and the underlying tissue structures, which helps to remove typical signs of advanced aging in a particularly efficient and sustainable manner. In addition to the general wrinkles on the face and neck are sunken parts of the corners of the mouth as well as the expression of drooping cheeks or a double chin.

The face looks fresh and dynamic again after lifting. Special suturing techniques ensure an unobtrusive formation of the hidden scars, which run in natural skin folds and in the hairy area of the head.

SMAS Technology

In our facial surgeries, we use the Superficial Musculu Aponeurotic System (SMAS), which refers to a muscular-connective tissue layer located in the subcutaneous layer of the face and neck skin. This layer is very thin, but still very tensile, which makes it extremely valuable for a facelift.

By correcting the muscle and connective tissue layer, the face can be effectively lifted (lifted), thus avoiding unnecessary tension on the skin. This fulfils one of the most important prerequisites for a natural result.
